IO-LOWER
A pair of angels patrol the galaxy, completing missions sent to them by MZD himself. Io, the buff one with crystals in his hair, is the brawn; he prefers using strength to solve problems. Lower, the tall one with the neat shades, is the brains by comparision, and much calmer to boot. They butt heads sometimes, but their god knows he can rely on them nonetheless!
In this game, they wield the white diamond lapis.

IN THE STORY
Being characters introduced during KAC, they don't show up for very long in the main story- but the role they play, delivering MZD's lost lapis to him from Jade, is very, very important! Things would be pretty doomed for the main cast if not for them. Pay them your respects.

TRIVIA
- Io's birthday is on October 10th, while Lower's is on April 10th. They're half a year apart, and the game celebrates both!
- The white diamond lapis is shared with Roki and Risette.
- In their 2P palette, Io-Lower wield the blue diamond lapis.
- Playing as or against Io-Lower will yield diamond effects in the background. Pretty sure.
- Although their wings aren't always visible, both have one each made of light. Io's is gold and Lower's, at least in this game, is magenta. It turned gold in Kaimei for some reason.
- Io is cited as the direct reason why Jade has lapis crystals in his hair. Chihi thought they looked cool on the angel, so she nabbed it for the chairman.

Also, a fun fact: Lower doesn't have a Popkun in his 1P colors in this game. The one he DOES have is his 2P colors. Kaimei Riddles came in clutch by giving them a new animation set with Lower at the helm, so that Popkun is the one I use for Lower on this site! That's why he doesn't have full shades or a white ponytail ribbon.
