MIMI
Mimi is one of two mascots for Pop'n Music, with the other being Nyami. With that being the case, of couse they would get new portraits and animations! What sweethearts. Mimi is, comparatively, more bubbly than her feline companion, but both are friendly as can be!
In this game, she wields the pink jewel lapis.
TWINKLING by Nekomata Master is her song.
IN THE STORY
Along with Nyami, Mimi shows up in the Story Tutorial to teach the player how the mode works. After that... not much until the climax, where MZD asks the two to tag along with him to the Big Bad. The two also show up in the ending cutscene reuniting with Nia!

- Mimi's birthday is on March 3rd. This is a pun on her name, as 3 can be read as "mi" in Japanese; "mimi" also means "ear," and hopefully that's self-explanatory.
- In her 2P palette, Mimi wields the yellow jewel lapis. This corresponds with Nyami's 1P palette and her lapis!
- To be expected, Nyami shows up in some of her animations, namely her FEVER and FEVER Win animations.
- Playing as or against Mimi will yield star effects in the background.
- If one plays TWINKLING as Mimi (this portrait), the rival character will be Nyami.
- Mimi's Twitter "kaomoji" was ∩∩ when Lapistoria was active. She announced the news from the start of service to July 30th, 2014. Nowadays, she announces news for Pop'n Lively (the PC version of Pop'n), but doesn't use this "kaomoji". It's not even her face it's just her ears
- Mimi's voice actress, Rie Murakawa, sings the game version of TWINKLING alongside Nyami's. She's been her voice since Portable 2.

This is the first character page I've made for this site. It was kind of agonizing. Mimi kept breaking the boundaries like a little criminal with God as her best friend to let her do that. Thankfully, I've contained her... for now...
