RARS
A universe-renowned vocalist from the depths of space seems to have made his Lapistoria debut! Despite his popularity throughout the cosmos, Rars takes on the disguise of just another student at the school, uniform and all. Even as he tries to hide the fact that he's an alien, his strange behaviors as he navigates the New World still catch the eyes of others. It doesn't seem like they know, though, nor do they know of the Poulpe alien on his head. There's lots to learn still!
In this game, he wields the pink diamond lapis.

IN THE STORY
Mostly limited to sidestories as he tries to learn more about Earth. In his first one, he attracts the suspicions of Retsu due to his perceived antisocial behaviors, but is ultimately (and unknowingly) let off the hook as it turns out he just wants to sing. He makes other cameos around Lapistoria, meeting with DTO in career counseling and getting roped into Root's donut shenanigans, meeting his idol Yuli, and he even gets to learn about Christmas! Although his costume for the occasion might need some work...

- Rars' birthday is on August 9th. It's listed in-game as 星々の重なる日 (The day the stars overlap).
- The pink diamond lapis is shared with Harpya and Sumire.
- In his 2P palette, Rars wields the green diamond lapis.
- Several non-Lapistoria characters appear in his FEVER Win animation; left to right and then top to bottom, they are LuLu, Walker, Aspara-seijin, Sergei, Pal and Kelly.
- Playing as or against Rars will yield diamond effects in the background.
- Rars' Twitter kaomoji was /<・へ・」> when Lapistoria was active. He announced the news from January 9th, 2015, to January 29th, 2015 to ring in the new year.
- Underneath the Poulpe wig, Rars' hair is short and dark pink, as shown in his Change card. He also has pointy ears.
- Speaking of Poulpe, its name was revealed on April Fool's 2015 with a plush keychain. It's French for "octopus," and fittingly resembles a dumbo octopus.
WEBMASTER'S COMMENTS
I only found out that Poulpe is French for octopus during an aquarium visit in Portugal... I went "I know that word!" out loud and my brother just looked at me confused saying "...octopus?" lol. He is vaguely aware of Rars now.
Also, the tab name is because the Hyper chart for Revived After Ruined Shine (his Kaimei song) was originally rated a 40. IT WAS NOT A 40. It's a 43 now.
And not related to ANY of the above, Rars continues to be associated with donuts long after Donut Equation. That was the beginning of the end for him, haha.
