Whoops! All 春風ブローインウィンド!

Fuga's song, brought to you by TAG! This techno piece is sprinkled with a touch of dubstep in the middle- while calmer than his previous song (COSMO DRIVE - Cosmic Hurricane), it's still a wonderful piece for our favorite yoyoing wind wielder!
The kanji is pronounced as "shunpuu", and the title translates to "Spring Breeze, Blowing Wind".
This is an instrumental song, so there's no lyrics.

TAG
Hello, this is TAG, a man who plays every BEMANI title.
Pop'n Music has gone through some major changes this time around, but this time, I created a song in the image of a new story that Fuga, one of the core members of this game, spins.
The gentle spring breeze will bring a different vibe than the raging storm from before.
During the song's production, dubstep was all the rage no matter where you looked, so I put some in the middle of the song while mixing in comical Pop'n-like elements.
Then as I was talking to Mr. Fujimori, BEMANI's number one festival host, about synths and staying "hip", he gave me a sharp-edged and solid response:
"The genre for this song is TAG STEP!"
Now that I can tell everyone about that episode, I can get a good night's sleep from now on.

CHARACTER COMMENT

"The quiet and shy transfer student has transferred to a school in the New World?! Guided by his wind powers and the bonds in his heart, he sets off for the truth..."

Chihi
Here's Fuga, who's greatest friend is still his yoyo.
But in Lapistoria, what a surprise! He has more friends?!
It never seemed like he would talk to anyone aside from his yoyo, but he joined their conversations really quickly!
Looks like his communication skills have improved quite a lot!
...But it's hard to dismiss the theory that he just happened to be passing by the crew and ended up joining.
While I was working on his new illustration, I ran into a big problem... his headphones... They were suffocating me, but I somehow managed to hang in there and they even made it to the OP animation.
As expected from the professional animators, once I saw the headphones in the finished OP animation, I thought to myself "Ohh, so that's how they look!" Thank you so much.
If I made Fuga's facial expressions while thinking about how I imagined him before, he'd have been nearly motionless and very difficult to talk to, so I made a conscious effort to exaggerate his expressions even though he's a calm-looking character. I hope you'll enjoy seeing expressions you've never seen from him in the story.
Since the boys' hairstyles would be staying the same, if their outfits were the same it would mean no change even though they're making a comeback. So I removed Fuga's scarf, which was the main visual point of his last appearance! What a bold move! Removing the scarf! It's gone now!!!
The other three are in summery clothes, so it'd be surprising if he wore his scarf anyways.
However, it wouldn't do for a wind-wielding character to not have clothes that could flow in the wind, so I had his cardigan wrapped around his waist. Wrapping it around the shoulders would make it look light, so that's why I decided on the waist.
In Retsu's animations, he can be seen with a bright smile at the photo booth, while in Hiumi's animations he can be seen helping her like a gentleman. It seems like Fuga's wide range of personality is quickly becoming a charming feature, so please look forward to watching his growth in Lapistoria!

Aside from Dimension Gale, his other song in Lapistoria, Fuga's only gotten one more song since this. STERLING SILVER, a song from Jubeat, was ported in Usaneko and uses his 2P colors. He also shows up in Retsu's animations in Peace, but I don't think that counts...
