Whoops! All Anelis!

(Guest starring a long image and my damndest attempt to make it singable. It was hard, so it's not too good... but it's something, right?)
The song name is derived from Aneris, another name for the goddess Harmonia (which was the opening theme for Lapistoria). Incidentially, though, "ānellīs" is also Latin for little rings. The twins' spiked halos are called rings in the texture files for this song and Harmonia. The Greek origin makes sense, but the Latin origin tickles my braincells... both are valid in the end, though.

Vague memories spin inside my head
As you stand so close, tight in my arms
“So comforting,” you said,
And with that, I knew that you’d always be by my side
Made prisoner looking in your eyes,
Pale blue and wide, staring in my soul
I hope you never go away

Everything begins, and everything ends, that’s how life goes
But even then, it never mattered to me
The hand I held so close melts in the wind, slipped from my grasp
Where you once stood
I find that now…
You are gone…

Hey, take a good look at our world
As I cross over with a jump, all my tears start to fall
Wither like leaves, and then pop with a shine
Maybe then, we’ll see a smiling face…
Such a lovely sight

Bye-bye for now, see you soon
I see you waving to me as you leave, know
You were so kind; you were the nicest I’ve known
I’ll wear a strong face for you…
Please come and see me again!
