Whoops! All 麗しきエトワールアンジュ!

Miyu's song, composed by Shiori Yoshida and arranged by Akiyuki Tateyama! Shiori also wrote the lyrics and performed the vocals for this waltzy Märchen jazz! Märchen means fairytale, by the way. It's only fitting for a dreamer like her~
I translate the title as "Beautiful Étoile Anges," with that latter half being French for star angels. It just feels better to keep it there.

Shiori	My name is Shiori Yoshida, and I was in charge of the lyrics, composition and vocals of “Beautiful Étoile Anges”. When I was a student, I used to go to the arcade and play Pop'n Music. So I am very honored to be involved in this project!
	When I received all the materials about the secretary, my first thought was about what a cute girl she is...!! I aimed to make THE song for girls like this; flighty and cute while still very exciting. The world of a maiden in love and in the prime of her adolescence is a world that shines very brightly. Just looking at someone like that makes me very happy.
	I have an image of the secretary singing this song with a skip in her step. I hope you enjoy playing it.

Akiyuki Tateyama	This is my first time being involved with the production of Pop'n Music. My name is Akiyuki Tateyama, the arranger for this song! The song I received was a cute and stylish “Märchen Jazz”, if I may call it that- it's a lovely, girly song! I tried to envision myself as an ever-dreaming teenage girl (lol) to enhance the worldview of this song, so I had a lot of fun arranging it.
	Even though it comes across as a pretty song, in terms of the rhythm, performing such an up-tempo song in ¾ time is quite difficult. You need a free-flowing sense of rhythm that's hard to find in intense vertical melodies... I was wondering if I could play it well (lol) I put in a lot of cute phrases. I'd be happy if you could play this song a lot!

"The school of her dreams... the student council of her dreams... Every day is a dream come true for this dreaming secretary!"

	ENGLISH
Chihi	At first, I was vaguely hoping to make a cute girl with a long skirt and lots of frills, and as Lapistoria was being built, the school and student council were budding alongside it, so I assigned such a character to be the council secretary.
	I really wanted her to wear a light pink or yellow outfit with lots of frills, but the team insisted on giving her a proper school uniform, and I have memories of being reluctant to give it to her. I had a hard time deciding on the ratio between uniform and frilly clothes, so I ended up thinking about a lot of outfits for this girl. Because the uniform is dark in color, adding frills to it would make it look gothic, which, no! She's not like that at all! So she wears a large cardigan that covers up much of the uniform to leave a softer impression on those who see her.
	I created the character design first, so I was really excited to see what kind of song I would get in return. As expected, she got a song fitting for a dreaming maiden! The vocalist's singing was so cute that it really felt like the character herself was singing it! Playing it gives me a graceful sort of feeling, so it's perfect for the student council's teatime.
	Miyu's behavior in the story is a little bit violent, but I have the feeling that she actually grew up happy and proper. She's able to wear what she likes every day, be around people she respects, and demonstrate her strengths in her area of expertise. She leads a very happy life! That's why she's seen skipping in her animations from the very start of the song.
	I wanted her to lead a life of a dreaming maiden, but her animations lacked a certain quirkiness, so I added some seasoning to spice her up. I think I laid it on a bit thick, but she's still an adorable secretary who works at her own pace!

Miyu hasn't had a new song since her debut, sadly... but here's hoping she gets one someday! I'd personally love for Shiori to return!
