I'll let you decide the lore significance of Christmas being a thing in both the Pop'n World and Lapistoria.

Episode 1: Gorgeous Town (華やかな街)

	ENGLISH	JAPANESE
	(Hrm...? The town is much more glamorous today... what could this be...?)	ムム・・・？ 街がなにやら華やかだな・・・ これは一体・・・
	(Ryuta enters the scene.)
	Alrighty, I'm gonna work hard today too!~	さーて 今日も頑張るぞ〜
	Ryu! *	リュータん！
	Don't call me that... Anyways, what's up?	その呼び方やめろよ・・・ どうした？
	You don't like that nickname? More importantly... what's going on in this town to have everything be so glamorous?	よいではないか それより・・・この街の状況は どういうことだ？
	Ahh, it's for Christmas! There's a lot of festivals and stuff around this time of year. I'd really like to spend some time with a cute girl at one of these this year~	あぁ クリスマスか まあお祭りみたいなもんだな 今年こそはかわいい女の子と 一緒に過ごしたいな〜
	Festivals... huh...	祭り・・・か・・・
	Well, sounded to me like you've never even heard of Christmas... just where are you from, Rars?	つーか クリスマス知らないって・・・ ラーズってどこ住みだっけ？
	N-no! Of course I've heard of it! I just wanted to reconfirm it!	い・・・いや！ もちろん知っている！ 再確認！
	Well, whatever. I've gotta get to work now...	ま いいや オレはバイトあるから

* (Rars calls Ryuta "Ryutan" in the original text, combining his name with the diminutive -tan (functionally like -chan; refer to Usanuko's fairy friend). That doesn't carry over too well, so "Ryu" it is. Cue Starmine.)

Episode 2: Partipating in the Festival (祭りに参加)

	(A festival... if I am to learn more about Earth's culture, then I must try to participate in this.)	祭り・・・これは 地球の文化を学ぶためにも ぜひ参加しなければ
	(First things first, let's have a look around town.)	まずは街の様子を見てみよう
	(Hmm, hmm... I see now... so they decorate the trees like this...)	ふむふむ・・・なるほど・・・ 樹木をこのように 飾り付けるのか・・・
	(Right! Let's give this a try.)	よし！さっそくやってみよう

Episode 3: Crowd (人だかり)

	The next day...	翌日・・・
	(Ryuta enters the scene.)
	(Huh...? There's a huge crowd in front of the store... What's going on?)	あれ・・・？ 店の前に人だかりが・・・ なんだろう？
	(Rars comes into view, embracing the Christmas spirit. The game itself can't capture all the Poulpes on his head!)
	(Wh-?! What the hell is he doing?!)	なっ！？ なにやってんだあいつ！？
	(Fufufu... As expected of me... even if I attend a small festival like this, my charismatic aura still draws in an unavoidable crowd.)	フフフ・・・さすが私・・・ 少し祭りに参加しただけで この人だかりカリスマのオーラは 隠しきれないな
	H-Hey, Rars!	お おい ラーズ！
	Hrm...? Well, if it isn't Ryu! Well? How's my Christmas style?	ムム・・・？ リュータんではないか！ どうだ？私のクリスマスは？
	You mean... your Christmas tree style? ...can you come to the back of the store for a second?	もしかして・・・ クリスマスツリーのつもり・・・? ・・・いったん店の裏に来ようか

Final Episode: Christmas in Rars' Style (ラーズなりのクリスマス)

	How do I put this... the trees are just decorations for people to look at. You don't need to...	あのな・・・ ツリーはただ飾って眺めるだけだぞ マネしなくても・・・
	I-is that so?	そっ そうなのか？
	Your hair, though...	それにしてもその髪・・・
	(O-oh no...! Is he going to make me reveal their existence...?!)	し・・・しまった・・・！ 彼らの存在がバレてしまう・・・！
	You made a really neat-looking wig.	よくできてるよな そのカツラ
	!! Y-you think so?	！！ そ そうだろう？
	Oh, right! Can you stand outside of the store like you were doing earlier? This store doesn't sell a lot of pichidon bowls during Christmastime, so we need to attract as many customers as we can!	そうだ さっきみたいに 店の前で客寄せしてくれよ クリスマスはあんまりピチ丼売れないから 今のうちに豚がないと
	Hm...? Attract customers?	ム・・・？客寄せ・・・？
	(Ryuta goes off-screen.)
	Just keep that wig on and stand outside. I'm gonna tell my manager real quick, alright? I'm counting on you!	その頭のまま 店の前で立ってるだけでいいんだ 店長には言っておくからさ じゃ 頼んだぜ！
	I'm not sure what this is all about, but he did say he's counting on me. Very well, then! Let's enjoy Christmas to the fullest!	なんだかわからないが 頼りにされているようだ よし！クリスマスを楽しむぞ！
