The young chairman of Lapistoria's school with a distinctive giggle. When he's first met, Jade seems just as innocent as any other kid, but he's driven quite heavily by his desire to become a god. And he seems like he'll do anything to get to this goal, but... is it really him we're seeing, or...?
In this game, he wields the black heart lapis.
Innocence by ZERO+ZIBA (kors k and wac) is his song.
IN THE STORY
In terms of pre-story lore, Jade hails from the same laboratory that created Black; a living experiment of unknown sorts. Some time between the destruction/escape and the story (maybe even before, but that's just in my head), Lapis Origin took him in as a vessel...
His first appearance in the story proper is in an encounter with Retsu after he had lost his purification abilities, goading him to try again before ultimately inciting the rampage by casting Fate Purification himself. Call it a test of strength, I suppose... After the rampage is dealt with, he teleports all present to the abandoned lab, giving us all some lore and declaring his goal to become Lapistoria's god- also taking Nia and Toa for his side via a lapis-related brainwashing. Swiftly stopped, though, and the true mastermind emerges from his lapis after the Tsugidoka crew bests him... (He plays a vital role in getting MZD to Lapistoria after this.)

- Jade's birthday is on May 31st.
- In his 2P palette, Jade wields the red heart lapis. MZD does the same in his 2P.
- Nia and Toa appear in his FEVER, Win, FEVER WIN and Dance animations, while Jadeite appears in his Good animation. All 3 appear in his Lose animation. The Tsugidoka crew appears in his Win animation, too.
- Playing as or against Jade will yield diamond effects in the background.
- Jade made his story debut in The Detective Girl, which released 2 months before Innocence became available. He went without his nametag until Two Worlds and would not become unlockable until the story following.
- Jade, as in the mineral he was named after, is typically green; however, it is capable of being white if it's of the nephrite silicate variety.
- Jade's Twitter kaomoji was (◇￠ӧᴗӧ) when Lapistoria was active. He announced the news from August 3rd, 2015, to September 11th, 2015. WHY does it look like that on this website.
- In this game, there's a small error with Jade's portrait. Due to the way Lapistoria handles expressions, the faceplates cut off one of his crystals at the top, which you can see on this site. His "distressed" faceplate (the one that he has after waking up from Lapis Origin leaving him) has the full crystal present, as does his portrait in éclale and beyond (which doesn't use faceplates).
- In his éclale change card, Jade can be seen wearing the outfit MZD wears in his winning and Lose animations. Since he can't exactly replicate Hatena, he's holding a pillow of its head instead. It's a super cute card... weepweep...
